From toddlers to the special needs of adolescents, adults and seniors, we design complete, individualized care based upon comfort, longevity and prevention. Unless the patient has an immediate concern, the first series of visits will involve a comprehensive evaluation of the entire face, mouth and teeth.

A comprehensive evaluation includes an assessment of digital X-rays, digital intra-oral pictures, temporomandibular joint function (TMJ), muscle foundation, and an analysis of how the upper and lower teeth fit together and function.

The purpose of this evaluation is quite simple. The patient and Dr. Perkins learn together about the condition of all parts of the chewing system. Before Dr. Perkins can determine what is possible for long-term stability, the current condition must be recorded and studied. Many of the disappointments and problems individuals have with dentistry can be traced to an incomplete evaluation and diagnosis.

Before Dr. Perkins can determine what is possible for long-term stability the current condition is assessed and studied. These are without a doubt the most important series of appointments.

Completing the evaluation, and doing it in such a way that is fully understood, is the first step in customizing a lifelong plan that will help achieve and sustain maximum comfort, health, and esthetics with stability and longevity.
